Thermal Binoculars

Thermal Binoculars are infrared imaging devices that have two eyepieces. Traditionally, a binocular system would also have two objective lenses and two thermal sensors. This is not always economically feasible in thermal imaging so many "thermal binoculars" are in reality biocular devices. This means that they have two eyepieces but only one objective lens. It is common industry practice to call binocular and biocular systems "thermal binoculars".
